Description: HJ331 is defined as fused type fluxes with medium manganese, high silicate elements, color in blue-green, with vitreous granules 12-60 meshes in size. Fluxes are suitable for use with both AC and D.C. When applying D.C. the filler-wire will be connected to electrode positive (EP). Fluxes have following features: good welding behaviors and anti-cracking.
Field of application: Fluxes match filler-wire such as SU08、SU26, EH14 etc. of which may be used for welding of mild steel, low alloy steel, high tensile steel (i. GA, 3, 20G, 16Mn, 16MnR, A3, 20G, E36) i. e. ship building and pressure vessels.

Remarks:
1.Before welding, fluxes need to be baked for two(2)hours at around 300-350℃.
2.Removal of rust, oil, dirt, water, impurities etc in welding-areas.
